Travel Vaccinations
It is important that you read the below information prior to sending a request:
Some travel vaccines are available on the NHS, but due to limited nursing capacity, we can currently offer only a few travel vaccination appointments each week. We are actively recruiting to expand our nursing team and hope to increase availability soon.
Our nurses provide a wide range of essential services, including cervical screening, wound care, childhood immunisations, long-term condition reviews (e.g. asthma, diabetes), family planning, and minor illness management. To maintain access to these vital services, we must carefully balance appointment availability.
Please be aware that we may not be able to accommodate all travel vaccination requests before your departure date. You may be advised to seek travel vaccination services elsewhere.
- PLEASE SUBMIT A FORM REQUEST AT LEAST 8-10 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR DATE OF TRAVEL.
- Travel advice & vaccinations are also available from local pharmacies and private travel clinics, which may be able to offer appointments sooner.
- Before completing the travel questionnaire, please visit travelhealthpro.org.uk/ to check the vaccination and health requirements for your destination(s).
- Administering travel vaccinations is not a core NHS service and charges may apply for some vaccinations.
- It is the travellers responsibility to check the entry requirements for their destination. Up to date information can be found at : www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
- Each individual traveller, including children, must complete a separate travel questionnaire form. We cannot accept forms containing details for more than one patient.
