Ordering repeat prescriptions

All requests for repeat medication must be made in writing. You may do this in several ways:

  • Via online service (NHS App, SystmOnline, Airmid). You will need to register to use this service
  • Via the practice website online form below
  • Via your nominated pharmacy if you have set up repeat prescription requesting (please speak to your pharmacy for details)
  • Filling in a repeat request form at the practice

We are unable to take prescription requests by telephone

Please allow Four full working days before collecting your prescription from a surgery and Five working days if collecting your medicines directly from a pharmacy. These times start the day after you have put your prescription request in.

Requests for medications that have not been issued for some time, or require a review will not be authorised. You will need to call to book an appointment unless your medication is on repeat. Please be aware that you may be asked to book an appointment with a clinician for a review before your medication is issued PLEASE DO NOT SEND APPOINTMENT REQUESTS VIA THIS FORM.
