Do you really need to see the GP?

Acute Illness Clinic
Book in Monday - Friday from 8:30 – 10:00am.

Our specially trained nurses can assess, manage and prescribe for a number of common illnesses, such as:


  • Chest infections
  • Worsening asthma and COPD
  • Coughs*,
  • colds*,
  • flu,
  • Hay fever*

Ear, Nose & Throat:

  • Sore throats,
  • tonsillitis,
  • sinusitis,
  • Earache,
  • Nose bleeds.


  • Urinary Tract Infections,
  • Cystitis.


  • Indigestion,
  • Constipation,
  • Diarrhoea,
  • Threadworm*

Eye infections:

  • Conjunctivitis*,
  • Stye,
  • Sore/ Sticky eye*.

Female complaints & infections:

  • Vaginal discharge,
  • Emergency contraception

Skin conditions & infections:

  • Wound infections,
  • Boils,
  • Abscesses,
  • Rashes,
  • Acne,
  • Chicken pox,
  • Head lice*.

*You may be asked to attend a local pharmacy if you present with the following minor and self-limiting conditions: Cough, cold, hay fever, warts, verrucae, threadworm, head lice.
